Overview:
- In the Macromedia, in the 5th semester, we must do an internship, and I did it with this studio.
- I was assigned to help the creator of Resistance 204x with his characters
- This game is sort of like street fighter, you can battle yourself with friends and bots, cross the finish line first to win and show the game who the real boss is
Tasks and how I’ve done it:
- Since I was only working for 1 Month, I didn’t have many tasks.
- In the first week I got a character assigned to me (Enforcer64), and my task was to give this character hitboxes, sounds, damage boxes, animation states (like movement, jumping, attacking and receiving damage), visual effects and the task that this character is faster than the rest.
- It toke me about one week to make him ready and in the second week I got the next character to work on (Enforcer32).
- My task was the same, make hitboxes, damage boxes, Animation states for movement/falling/jumping/Attacking, sounds and effects for him.
- It was a bit difficult to separate the animations because enforcer64 is fast and should have fast movement and Enforcer32 was the opposite and is supposed to be very slow.
- In the third week I already finished both characters + reworked them, like fixing some boxes, effects, damage times and sounds to make it sound + feel better.
- In my 4th and last week I got my last character to make named Paint, he was a perfect middle, not too fast and not to slow
- In this whole week I created his states (like the jumpings, attacks, movements) and in the last view days I made the effects and sounds fitting for him
- Since I stayed 2 days after the 4th week longer, I could rework some stuff on him + Perfect his hitboxes, sounds, states, effects and smoothness
